Forget Everything 2.0

Words and Music by Callison Nash © 2012

I can pick you up, you can hold me down,

I can buy the time, we can do the town,

I can feel the heat, from the summer air,

Blowin thru the buildings lifting up your hair,

Yeah Yeah Yeah

Forget everything when I met you, something beautiful stirred my heart too,

Can’t escape the ringing in my brain,

We could walk all night, and just hang out,

You can tell me things, I won’t bring you down

Until I get to you again,

Forget Everything

I can watch your eyes, I can hold your hand,

Whisper in my ear, and I understand

You can feel the heat, I know what you want,

Cause with any kiss,  too late to stop

YEAH YEAH YEAH

Forget everything when I met you,

Something primitive stirred your heart too,

Leading us to something we can’t change.

Every face is blurred except for yours

Every word you breathe is like a chorus,

I’ll sing it back to you again,

Forget Everything,

YEAH YEAH YEAH

I can pick you up, you can hold me down,

I can buy the time we can do the town

I can feel your heat, and the summer air,

Blowing thru the buildings, lifting up your hair,

YEAH YEAH YEAH,     YEAH YEAH YEAH

Forget everything when I met you, something beautiful stirred my heart too,

Can’t escape the ringing in my brain,

We could walk all night, and just hang out,

You can tell me things, I won’t bring you down

Until I get to you again,

Forget Everything

Dragonflies

Words and Music by Callison Nash  © 2012

Far away in a field, we were chasing dragonflies we never caught,

Running fast enough, or so we thought,

Holding back the future for awhile

And sailing away, on a ship we made out in the woods,

Beating all the bad guys in the name of good,

And climbing all the mountains we could find

Chasing dragonflies

And dreams filled our heads, as the world turned under our beds,

Little by little, we moved on, until all of those innocent times,

were gone,

Chasing Dragonflies

Now work fills my head, as the world turns under my bed

And I long to return, where embers of innocent memories still burn

Another day begins, just like the last,

With another cup of coffee, another year has past,

now where are all the dreams we left behind,

Yet somewhere in the back of my mind,

I find, I’m still chasing, dragonflies

River Keeps Running

Words and Music by Callison Nash © 2012

Take these shoes from my feet,

Bring me through your door,

I was only drowning in the street,

Hoping to learn more,  about you

I feel like you might be the one,

Yeah you just might do the trick,

You could bring me up again,

But the river keeps on running,

It just keeps on running,

What the water washed away,

Will never come again,

We will never be the same,

Still you stand here anyway,

And never think of giving in,

Can’t hold back the river anyway,

Can’t hold back the river anyway,

So we go tumbling downstream with what was left of yesterday,

Take that Red Ribbon, Take it from your hair,

And Drop it, A little closer, now just stand right there,

And let me stay here for awhile, try to lose my self in you,

Just fade into your smile,

And the river keeps running,

It just keeps on Running

What the water washed away,

Will never come again,

We will never be the same,

Still you stand here anyway,

And never dream of giving in,

Can’t hold back the river anyway,

Can’t hold back the river anyway,

And we go tumbling downstream with what was left of yesterday

Yeah

Yesterday

Yeah

Do You Feel Alright

Words and Music Callison Nash © 2012

Tell me do you feel alright

Tell me do you feel alright

Six weeks from Virginia, heading west and riding slow,

This crazy life is killing me, I just thought I’d let you know,

I pass the time counting just red cars,

the blues can’t take me back to where you are

Tell me do you feel alright

Tell me do you feel alright

Tell me do you feel alright

In Santa Fe I tried to call you, anything to hear your voice,

And say the things you need to hear, but the message was cut short,

And I wonder why you stick around for more,

Are the times we spend together, enough to heal your soul.

Tell me do you feel alright

Tell me do you feel alright

Tell me do you feel alright

White lines burn into my mind

I close my eyes and I’m with you again,

With every town I leave behind

Am I getting any closer

I’ve never felt this lonely

Tell me do you feel alright

Tell me do you feel alright

Tell me do you feel alright

Tell me do you feel alright
